Hoerbiger names senior VP, OEM department head

Hoerbiger Corp. of America, Inc. has hired John Metcalf as its senior vice president and head of OEM Sales and Engineering. He is responsible for all OEM departments, including the Key Account Management team and the Application and Field Engineering team.
Metcalf has 17 years of leadership experience with Cook Compression, serving in sales and engineering support for several OEM customers. He started as an engineering director and advanced to vice president/general manager for the Americas. Before joining Cook Compression, he served as a design engineer for Dresser-Rand in Painted Post, New York.
Metcalf will initially work out of the Houston office until mid-2015, after which he will move to the Fort Lauderdale location.
