Burckhardt compression acquires CSM

Burckhardt Compression Holding AG has acquired Compressor Supplies & Machine Work Ltd. (CSM), which is a Canadian company based out of Edmonton and Drumheller, Alberta.
Burckhardt said it is trying to increase it’s compressor service presence in Western Canada, and the purchase will establish a presence in upstream compressor service, in which CSM has 35 years’ experience, as well as downstream services.
In 2016, CSM recorded nearly US$5.9 million (CHF 5.7 million) in sales and had 43 employees. The purchase price has not been disclosed.
